What is lip blush tattoo?
This permanent makeup technique creates a soft lip color effect that is done with a special permanent makeup machine. A very thin needle and light hand movement implant the pigments to the upper layer of the dermis.

Before booking this appointment, if you have ever had a fever blister (even many years ago) cold sores, shingles, or chickenpox, you MUST take a prescribed antiviral medication prior to and after the procedure. You can contact your doctor for this prescription.
Before Care
To ensure the best retention of color, it is advised to exfoliate your lips one week (every day) prior to the procedure by using a soft toothbrush or sugar scrub. After exfoliating, apply Aquaphor for moisture. It is completely safe to tattoo lips that have cosmetic filler. Please make sure filler appointments are either 6 weeks before or 6 weeks after the lip blush procedure.
After Care
Day 1-7: Gently clean the area by dabbing cool water on your lips with a clean cotton pad. After cleaning, gently pat them dry with a clean paper towel. After cleansing, apply a thin coat of ointment you received after the procedure. Apply this ointment 3-5 times a day for 2 weeks. Lips will start to peel around the 4th or 5th day. DO NOT PICK.
No kissing for 3-5 days after procedure! Avoid water on your lips in the shower. Avoid foods that are spicy, oily, salty, or acidic. Eat foods you must use a fork with for 2 days after the procedure. No biting down on foods like pizza, sandwiches, or burgers. Do not apply makeup on or around your lips for 10-14 days or until your lip blush has healed completely. No swimming, hot yoga, saunas, or tanning beds for 10 days.
Immediately after the procedure, lips will appear very bright in color. Lip blush can lighten up 30-40% when completely healed. Redness, swelling, tenderness, or dryness are all very common post treatment side effects. Skin can be unpredictable - it is VERY important you notify us if you notice any type of allergic reaction or infection.
A touch up will be scheduled for 6 weeks after the initial session.
